One lesson a week. A stronger start to September.

The summer holidays are long, and for many GCSE and A-Level students, that gap between terms fades the momentum that took months to build up. We don’t want that to happen to your child, and that’s why Summer Boatcamp exists, ten weekly lessons, spread across the summer, giving your child the time and consistency to absorb and build on what they are learning.

Feedback from last summer

Honestly I was sceptical at first. My daughter had been struggling with A-Level Chemistry since January and we had tried a few things that just did not seem to stick. But after the first three or four lessons she came home and actually explained a concept to me at the dinner table. That had never happened before. By August she felt ready for Year 13, which I cannot say she had felt at any point during the year.

Rt

I joined the GCSE Maths group because algebra was just a complete mystery to me. The tutor went back to the basics without ever making me feel behind. By about week five I was getting the harder questions right. My September mock went better than any test I sat the whole of Year 10.

Mo

I did the English group and it changed how I write essays. Before the summer I would just sort of start writing and hope it came together. The tutor showed me how to actually plan an argument properly. I used that structure in my first A-Level essay and my teacher specifically commented on it.

Pm

We were a bit worried it might feel like school during the holidays but it really did not. Our son actually looked forward to his lesson each week, which I genuinely did not expect. The tutor was patient, thorough and clearly knew his subject. Worth every penny, especially given what one-to-one costs these days.

Every summer group is led by a tutor who is chosen specifically for their ability to work with GCSE and A-Level students and goes through a thorough vetting process before they work with any student on our platform. That means verified qualifications, a full DBS check, and a track record of actually getting results with the students they teach.

FAQs

The Summer Bootcamp is a structured programme of small online subject groups for GCSE and A-Level students. Each group focuses on one subject and includes ten weekly lessons running from 15th June to 17th August. Groups are kept to a maximum of four students, so every student receives meaningful tutor attention throughout.
Between two and four students per group. The small size is deliberate. It means students can participate freely, ask questions without hesitation and receive the kind of specific feedback that larger classes cannot provide, while still benefiting from the peer energy that solo tutoring lacks.
The rate is £14 per hour per student. Because the groups are small, this gives your child access to expert tuition at a significantly more accessible price point than one-to-one tutoring, without sacrificing the quality of teaching or the level of individual attention.
When you register interest, you share your preferred weekly availability. The Eximus Education team then looks at the preferences of all students in the group and confirms a weekly slot that works for the majority.
Yes. If your child has gaps across more than one subject, you can register interest in multiple groups. Each group runs independently and focuses on a single subject, so there is no overlap in content and no confusion in scheduling.
No. This is a small group programme. Students learn with two to three peers in a focused online environment led by a brilliant Eximus Education’s tutor. It is deliberately not one-to-one, the group format adds a dimension of peer learning and motivation that solo tutoring cannot replicate, and it makes the programme far more accessible in cost.
Groups will run subject to sufficient student interest. If a particular group does not attract enough students to proceed, the Eximus Education team will contact you directly and advise on the most suitable alternative whether that is another group, a different arrangement or a refund of any payment made.
The programme is designed as a connected ten-lesson sequence, so consistent attendance gives your child the best possible outcome. If your child is likely to miss a session, we ask that you inform our team in advance so the tutor is aware and can advise on how to stay on track.
